Welcome students to the beginning of your second semester of back to school winter term activities at Spoken Wordplay Podcast. I am your head instructor Ms. Tonya Michelle Wilkerson speaking from the heart with a motivational message. The month of January is known as the observance of "National Staying Healthy" for students to start focusing on their over all well being and self-care goals. So in support of your mental, emotional, social and physical health, here are several daily staying healthy tips to help you successfully start your New Years Resolutions. First, Eat Better and Healthier whole foods with plenty of fruits, veggies, lean proteins, nuts, seeds & using cooking oils like olive and canola. Second, Be More Physically Active for atleast 30 to 75 minutes per day for instance participate in 150 minutes of moderate walking or 75 minutes of nonstop high intensity workouts. Third, Get Healthy Sleep by going to bed early at night and turning off your electronic devices to acheive getting 7 to 9 hours of sleep time. Students, Go to spokenwordplaypodcast.com and click th "Meme Challenge" link to share your self-care journey & photo gallery with Ms. Tonya the head instructor.
