So many of these things that come across my “desk” throughout the day, really get me to pause and do some thinking - this one was one of those for sure. In fact, this is what I shared when I reposted it: “Wow... powerful reflection here.. I needed this for sure!!” I am totally open to connecting to things that I know that I not only need to be reminded of or taught, but also I realize that I MUST keep learning / being reminded of these lessons every single day of my life!! This once comes from The Winning Difference (@thewinningdiff1) and it reminds us that “Success starts with accountability. When you take responsibility for where you are, you take control of where you’re going. Stop making excuses. Start making progress.” Now that is a powerful enough point to share and discuss for sure, but they went a bit further by attaching another thought from Coach Buzz Williams who said, “You’ll never become who you want to be if you keep blaming everyone else for who you are now.” Now, I’ve done this plenty of times in my life - and I’ve been working for a long time at fixing this in my life. Taking responsibility is the best and easiest way of fixing things in our own life. It’s also the best and most difficult too. But it’s totally worth it. Take a look in the mirror and ask the person staring back at you about this post!! Thanks for listening.
