JOHN CORNELISON│On Classic Horror Cinema
Manage episode 445064489 series 1342400
For this episode of The All-Around Adventure Podcast, I'm joined by retired archaeologist and classic film expert, John Cornelison.
John has an extensive background with serving in the Army as a helicopter mechanic. As well as working as an archaeologist for over three decades. He and I worked together for a few years in the southeast while we were both a part of the National Park Service. John is also a fan of classic movies and has been watching them ever since he was a kid. And he shares his passion and knowledge of classic movies on his podcast, Classic Movie Reviews. And with Halloween approaching, I asked John to join me on the podcast to share his expertise on classic horror cinema!
In this episode, John tells us about some of his favorite classic horror films that he's reviewed on his podcast. As well as behind the scenes moments that led to some films being elevated. And others to almost be completely destroyed and never viewed by the public. Furthermore, we have a fun discussion on monster movies, slasher flicks, and horror comedies that would be great for your Halloween horror movie nights!
