Picture this: You go to the gym in your free time (LOL) and see a very athletic human maxing out because it’s #LegDay. They’ve got a CRAZY amount of weight on their squat bar and yet they ask for more because, well, they think they can handle it. Now, imagine if all of that weight was to do lists, errands to run, events to get to, things to sign up for, after school activities, and more. That, my friends, is the mental load of motherhood.

Today we’ve got a guest who is NOT all about maxing out when it comes to squatting your mental load as a mom but rather sharing that weight with your partner. Paige Connell is a working mom of 4 and content creator who brings awareness to the mental load of motherhood and advocates for equitable marriages. As if that isn’t enough, she’s also advocating for affordable childcare (preach!). She has been featured in Scary Mommy, The Today Show, Bloomberg and more! Paige helps mothers put words to their lived experiences so that they can strive for more equitable and happy relationships.
