One powerful reframe I offer: Instead of saying, “I don’t have time,” say, “I’ve chosen to prioritize this.” This shift puts you back in the driver’s seat, empowering you to plan smarter and take ownership. I also discuss practical ways to handle your workload:
- The Pomodoro Technique: Manage non-creative tasks with focused 20-minute intervals.
- Batching Tasks: Group similar activities to stay efficient and in flow.
- Morning Prioritization: Write down the top three tasks you must accomplish each day—“eat the frog first,” as I like to say.
Lastly, I emphasize how essential scheduled rest is to high performance. Having a list of enjoyable activities, whether it’s dancing, meditating, or chatting with ChatGPT, ensures that your rest is intentional and rewarding. Don’t just manage your time—create an abundant life where rest, work, and thriving coexist.
