First broadcast as part of our 31Women project which broadcast a new interview with a different woman every day in March 2023 as our month long celebration of International Women's Day. Lack of resources meant this project could not repeat for 2024, fingers crossed for enough sponsorships/subscribers in 2025.
Sabina grew up as a mixed race Persian/Indian/English/Irish child in London which remains her home. Bullied as an outcaste at school, she was lured into the world of fashion modeling at a very young age and later toured the world as a pole dancer, married a rockstar in the USA, and finally returned to London where she rekindled a latent love: playing guitar, songwriting and singing. Being the last in the 31WOMEN series, in this extended mix you'll hear some of Sabina's story and inherent wisdom, plus a story from Adrian our host with a true and entirely remarkable traveller's tale.
