While individual spiritual paths might have similarities to each other, everyone still walks on a spiritual path that’s uniquely their own. My guest Troy Hadeed has traveled the world in his. As a yoga teacher and spiritualist, he sees the way for humanity’s conscious evolution through the lens of love. He embodies this himself by trying to live up to the name of love (which is also the title of his book) in every moment possible.

In this episode of the Words of Love podcast, you’ll learn what it means to embody love consciously (and even how you can express it practically). You'll also discover the connection between yoga (and similar activities), love, and gaining a better understanding of your mind, identity, and spirituality.

3:51 - What it means to live up to the name of love

8:04 - The breath’s revelation of yoga (and similar practices) as much more than physical exercise

19:34 - Expressing love as a physical embodiment and why we hold back from doing so with most people

27:29 - The central question Troy asks of readers in his book and what we’re here to do

34:42 - The universal algorithm for human consciousness we need to activate to evolve

Connect with Troy Hadeed
Troy has come to understand that the practice of yoga as a practice that transcends physical postures, or any other box we are tempted to put it into. He views the practice as a ‘training ground’ of sorts. A place where we deepen our relationship to our mind, our breath, and our personal understanding of God through intimate and intentional focus—a place where we essentially practice the art of being present. As a ‘teacher’ Troy’s intention is to share a depth of practice that embodies a form of prayer, and allows every practitioner to connect to something beyond the physical aspects of the practice. Furthermore, he aims to continuously create a space that is accessible to all—regardless of their faith, age, or physical limitations.
