In episode 95, Genny offered her thoughts on this topic and suggested that if you read it left to right, you’re focusing more on the “negative” but if you read right to left, you’re focusing more on the “positive”.

Genny shared the definition of stress as a state of worry or mental tension caused by a difficult situation. It prompts a response from us “fight or flight” to address challenges or threats. She explained that not all stress is bad, and offered examples of what can be called good stress (a wedding, birth of a baby), minor stress (stuck in traffic, computer froze) or major stress (illness, finances, losing a job). As well, she shared what happens to our bodies when we’re stressed, how to know if you are stressed (what to watch out for), and how to deal with it.

Genny also shared her personal story of dealing with stress; how she’s dealt with health issues such as shingles, laryngitis, and now, guttate psoriasis.
