Tara shared her experiences being a personality and chef/cook on tv shows, working as a food editor and stylist, and more recently as running her own business as an independent food blogger. We chatted about cooking easy meals, and she shared tips to help people find joy in cooking, and even advice for those who don't enjoy cooking. She shared her favorite way to make a Thanksgiving turkey and other holiday recipes and ideas, including Christmas. She gave us the skinny on what she likes to stock her pantry with, how to use herbs without waste, and her opinions on recipe substitutions. She also gave us the behind-the-scenes info on her experiences in creating cookbooks. We both shared our love of flavored vinegars and oils, and how it makes for a great date night to go to a specialty store and taste test them.
