WARNING – In Today’s podcast we are going to talk about death, trauma, suicide and mental health and self care. You may ask yourself why I am talking men's business with Duncan Burns, as a woman, should I be talking about men's business, well as a woman I feel very privileged to be able to interview Duncan Burns so he can talk about men's business and how men are coming together to become stronger and heal, and support the next generation.
In this interview you will hear about his life and how he went from being involved with drugs, crime, gangs, violence and anything else that is gang related including him being shot and dying in a gutter until paramedics brought him back to life. This is where the journey began! I am so excited to hear about the work he is doing with young men and programs he is putting together to help change the next generation.
Duncan has spent the last few years going within and working on himself to create a better life experience for himself and his beautiful family. Duncan openly shares his experience in men's circles and how they have transformed his life and the lives of many men who get together and share the good, the bad and the ugly. They are vulnerable and supportive and they see how they can heal in a way that is powerful whilst still being masculine. I hope you enjoy this amazing interview and share with other men no matter their age or background, this is for everyone.
