In this episode we will be exploring the various ways power plays out within the mental health system. We start with an exploration of the meaning and definition of power, before exploring how power may be conceptualised within mental health. We explore ways to work with power clinically as well as ways that mental health practitioners may work to reduce potential negative impacts of power. At the end, some reflective questions are posed to establish further thinking.
