A Bite Size episode.

I have had a flurry of requests this week around dealing with illness (flu, colds, coughs etc) and eating disorder recovery.

If you’re in recovery and then you get sick, you might have lost your sense of taste and smell. You might have lost your appetite or feel that you should have lost your appetite. Dealing with symptoms of cold/flu might make sticking to your meal plan even harder. The eating disorder might want to capitalise on the opportunity not to eat. This can conjure up lots of eating disorders thoughts and heaps of guilt and shame. You may have used past illness/sick periods as a ‘valid’ excuse not to eat and to focus on weight loss.

In this episode, I explore how to stay in your recovery lane when dealing with illness. I hope that you find it helpful.
