This week we welcomed Harold Sherrell and Ryan Shramek from Big Country Organic Brewing Company in Pflugerville, TX. This week our friends from the Austin are were in house to discuss the brand, the brews, and the future of the brewery. This was a real treat as we got into the real "nerd stat" details of the difficulties of operating a certified organic brewery. On top of the everyday hard labor of normal operations in a brewhouse, the ingredient sourcing/procurement, compliance, and processies of Organic Brewing add a whole new layer of challenges. It was a true pleasure to get an inside look at how they've met these challenges with a determined grit and new innovations. Hope you enjoy the stories as much as we did here in the taproom.
