Today we're looking at one of the most powerful, humbling and liberating questions that we can ever ask ourselves. It's a question that comes into its full power in the moments when we are feeling resistance or resentment to someone. The question is: What is my equivalent?

It’s a horrible question, because in those moments when we want someone to change their behaviour, the ego is having a field day. There's a full sense of me versus them, and it’s a wonderful place for the ego identity to hang out. But then in comes this question, which completely rewires our thought patterns and takes us somewhere new. In this episode, we’re going to explore that new place and become open to the possibility of changing how we experience ourselves and the reality.

What is Covered:

-Why our ego identity enjoys being in the state of full separation

-How do we start to default to “What is my equivalent?”

-What equivalent really means and how we can recognise it in different situations

-How equivalent can be a direct or indirect mirror of somebody’s behaviour

-How to get into the space of understanding and compassion instead of separation

-How the outside world starts to change when we change the concept of what we are
