Shame, which I also refer to as an existential wrongness, is a deep feeling of being somehow responsible for everything that we feel is messed up within us. That ongoing sense of deep wrongness comes from the most fundamental confusion about the mind, about the body, and about our behaviour.

However, shame is both our greatest suffering and the point at which there can be the greatest sanity about what the mind is and what we really are. There are examples of people who’d hit rock bottom and were even on the brink of suicide, and then at the lowest point, something happens and there's a shift within the mind in which shame just cannot exist anymore.

In this episode, we’re going to explore why we feel shame, the confusion that creates shame in the first place, but also the accountability of our perceiving mind for everything that happens to us and how we can get rid of the shame.

What is Covered:

-Why shame is the ultimate confusion, why it’s insane and illogical

-The toxic belief system that perpetuates shame and makes our life miserable

-How to see shame as a gift of an emotion

-Does it really make sense to get rid of the shame?

-Why we are so focused on ourselves when we feel shame

-What is source accountability or impersonal accountability?

-How to find the place where shame ends and clarity and openness begin
