One Lego Set Later: Should You Bother with Lego as an Adult?
Manage episode 386231074 series 3339406
Fast forward 7 days from our last episode and we’ve bought a lego set on Amazon and slowly assembled it, piece by piece.
The most surprising thing: there was an 18+ age label on the side of the box! So Lego really can be specifically for adults!
But have you ever wondered what that could be like?
For most of us, lego usually resulted in some shi*ty, multi-coloured, random assembly of blocks when we were younger. Then you’d tear it down, step on it by accident, bubble with rage and not play with it for a few days.
But what’s it like to take it seriously, spending hours assembling something complex. It’s got a hefty price tag - is it worth hundreds of that cash you burst your arse to make each week?
And when it’s all done, are you filled with pride? Or left feeling like a big man child, having spent hours with a toy instead of acting like a “grown up”.
Liked this episode or have a suggestion for something we should bother doing? We’d love your review!
