Happiness Is A Skill | The Good In Today

There are a lot of things out there in the world today that claim they'll bring you happiness. Most of them are complete B.S.
Today I want to talk about what happiness even is and how we all try to get it. I have a personal belief that happiness is a skill. There are certain things that we can each do every single day that are proven to increase your level of happiness. Most of them are so simple that a lot of us overlook them. I read a book a few years ago that changed the way I looked at the subject. It is partially what inspired this podcast. That book was "The Happiness Advantage" by Shawn Achor. In it, he talks about some of the different steps that we can each take every day and things that we can easily implement to improve our lives. We can obviously improve on our ability to complete those tasks. Hence, I believe happiness is a skill.
