Hello there. Today is going to be a bit of a free flow or quote unquote download of sorts. I found as I was preparing for this podcast that the subject matter just kept changing and shifting, and perhaps as a reflection of what's going on in my personal life right now, which is a lot of change and a lot of shifting as I prepare to leave San Diego and go back to Baja, Mexico, where I plan to stay for as long as possible. And where I wound up is on a topic that has been sort of ruminating within me, as I heard the reflections of other women over the last few months here and there just a little snippet, so we'll call it the word of the year. And first I will acknowledge that I think there's a lot of value in saying I have a word of the year.

For me personally, I don't do it at the start of the year. I do it when I'm ready. So when I feel complete with a word or an energy. So to me, words are energy that I've been working with and really embracing when I feel complete for now with that word, then I choose another value to focus my energy upon and to grow from. And so for me, it's about growth. And so I think there are different ways to utilize our word, our energy that we're calling into our lives more. And I think often we may choose our word from a place of wanting more of something in our lives. For example, if a person's been struggling with finances, then they might wanna choose something like abundance, right? To create more ease or to, you know, finally have a break. And that would be an example of coming from the self with the choice.

The cool part about selecting an energy to work with, or a word, is that we can take this energy and learn from many different perspectives. And this is something I feel that the new age of Aquarius, the amount of change that we're all going through collectively looking at things from multiple perspectives can be really, really helpful and grounding. So as we bring in more feminine energy, the divine feminine into our lives and onto the planet, we could also then extend our focus into our immediate relationships. So by this I mean our families, friends, significant others, any relationships where we're working with people on a regular basis, work the workplace, maybe our team, right? So that's something I can do with my team. Like I can think about what is the energy that I want them to experience or be held in, right?

And let that be a guiding factor for how I choose to communicate, for how I choose to create my systems and my business. We might also ask, how can I bring this high vibration energy or focus to my local community? So let's say I and I have done this, I've worked with the energy of kindness. How can I bring kindness to my local community? And so for me, that translates into things like creating relationship and kind relationship with local vendors. So if I go into their establishment, for example, to have a meal, I'm gonna do all the normal things, you know, I'm gonna look at the menu in order and maybe have an exchange. Often have an exchange with the wait person. But if I'm bringing kindness to my local community, I might wanna go a step further in this example and make a connection with the owner of the restaurant or the manager, whoever is available.

I think this is really easy to do, especially in mom and pop type environments. In more corporate establishments, there are managers or there are the baristas perhaps. And it's not about like diverting them from what they're doing because often people are focused, but it's creating a moment of kindness. How can I create a moment of kindness with these people? And I, here in San Diego, I've gotten to know a few shop owners and you know, they know my name, I know their name. And this creates such a lovely comradery. It even brings me more pleasure because on a deep level, I am looking forward to going there, to creating, to co-creating that environment of kindness with the shop owner. So it sets the stage for energy that was dormant before to be active. Another way to work with the lessons of energy is to look at things globally.

So ask the question, how can I bring this energy to my global community? And luckily as a business owner, I get to have a global community. I get to connect with people who live all around the world. I create courses and I create platforms where people can come together to have an experience. And so I am going to hold that. Part of that experience is kindness. So even if I'm not facilitating the specific event, I can be participating in it. I can still have an impact energetically through global connection. The fifth arena that I see today, that is an area where we can bring focus, we can bring energy to is collectively. So I would ask myself, how might I bring others together collectively? How might I bring them together collectively with this energy and expand on this energy? So perhaps it's a collaboration of kindness.

How do I create that? What, what could I create that's going to not only be about me thinking about emanating this energy and creating experiences for other people of kindness, but how might I bring together people to have a collaboration of kindness? What could that look like? What might that be? And I'm really excited about this idea of collaboration and partnership. Like new types of partnering with people for this new age. The days of being independent and doing things alone are outdated. While it is important to be able to be sovereign and to live from a place of understanding and confidence that we can achieve, that we can complete, that we can succeed, that we can create, et cetera, and still allow ourselves to be interdependent, to be really connected and supportive of one another as we give and receive. Now in business, of course, it's really important to have a mission in your business, but I think also we really wanna make sure that we are bringing that mission alive in small ways every single day. And so hopefully your mission is connected to your values. And when you can tap into those values and stand for them in your business, then you can create a container of sacredness and of learning and of collaboration where

Even the newest or youngest or least experienced person coming into contact with you receives something important. [SNIPPET:] An activation if you will, and activation into a whole world of new possibilities. And when this activation occurs, the past traumas must make way and new outcomes then are entirely possible. And the soul sings in delight and your little self and your inner self become organically more confident, more bold, and more in tune with the energies of the universe, in harmony with those. And that's when you create and receive your prosperous and abundant life. Alright, that's my little download for you today.
