In this interview, we speak with Dr. Stanly Krippner. Dr. Krippner is a pioneer and author in the fields of developmental psychology, parapsychology, trauma and PTSD, and has pioneered work in cross-cultural studies with indigenous healers from around the globe. He has held faculty positions at Saybrook University and is currently faculty at the California Institute of Integral Studies.
Dr. Krippner joins us to discuss his autobiography, A Chaotic Life: the Menoirs of Dr. Stanley Krippner. This 3-volume set is published by the University Professors Press. In it, Dr. Krippner elucidates the fractal like quality hiis life spurred on by encounters with cultural luminaries, such as
  • Micky Hart from the Grateful Dead
  • Alan Watts
  • Martin Luther King
  • Native American Medicine Man Rolling Thunder
  • Albert Ellis
Dr. Krippner also sheds light on the people behind the scenes who had made such meetings possible. We discuss these encounters in this interview, his long career and research, as well as his process of writing his memoir about these fractal events that changed the course of his life in so many ways.
