On the latest episode of Release Ramble, I talk to the frontman of Los Angeles melodic hardcore band Oceans Away. Robbie indulges us in his unique experiences as a band member, quite literally travelling across the world to find his place in the industry. From LA to Munich, the conception of this band is rooted in his travels and it was an incredible story to listen to. Every song captures a moment of this pilgrimage, but their latest track, appropriately titled 'TRANSATLANTIC' sheds light on the creation of Oceans Away and the stories they have today. Not only that, but Robbie and I delve into our own experiences of living with anxiety; from medication to overpowering your fears, this was a grounded and touching discussion about mental health and the power music can have on two different people on opposite sides of the world. Thank you so much to Robbie for coming on the show and I look forward to seeing what Oceans Away has in-store for 2025.
