In this episode, Jim's guest is Mark Steiner of Immune Health Basics. They discuss beta-glucans, specifically the yeast product from fungi, and the mechanism by which it can prime ones immune system to be more effective and efficient without increasing or decreasing white blood cells. Do they help with seasonal allergies? How about taking them with autoimmune conditions? How do IHB's supplements differ from other immune support products on the market? Jim and Mark also touch upon antioxidants derived from the bark of the European Silver Fir tree.
Jim will also be sharing encouraging news from journal articles regarding the top three supplements for cardiovascular health, as well as the one vitamin found in higher concentrations in the brains of individuals with better cognition.
