About our Guest
Jenny Sanchez is an extraordinary entrepreneur, visionary leader, and a fitness icon. With her unwavering dedication and unparalleled work ethic, she has taken the fitness world by storm.
Jenny's fitness journey began in 2014 as a rhythm-based spin & group fitness instructor at several local & corporate gyms. She quickly made a name for herself as an outstanding instructor and soon became one of the most sought-after trainers in Houston. Her passion for fitness and her contagious energy were favored, and her classes were always packed to the brim.
In 2016, Jenny decided to take her love for fitness to the next level and founded Dance House Fitness. Under her leadership, DHF quickly became a favorite among fitness enthusiasts, attracting a clientele of over 10,000 members over 7 years. with her 15+ team members, Jenny developed unique and innovative class programming and modalities that were all created in-house.
Jenny's talent and dedication were quickly recognized, and she was nominated as Houston’s Hottest Trainer in 2019. She was also selected as a Lululemon ambassador for four years, further solidifying her status as a fitness influencer and leader in the industry.
During the covid-19 pandemic, Jenny was quick to adapt to the situation and pivoted her classes to a digital platform, becoming one of the first studios in Houston to do so. Her efforts allowed DHF to maintain a digital presence since 2020 and continue to expand its reach to a national audience.
Jenny's decision to close DHF was a difficult but necessary step in her journey to the next chapter of her career. She remains grateful for the experience and the incredible community she built through the studio. Jenny is excited about what the future holds and is determined to continue making a positive impact on the world, both in and out of the fitness industry. She continues to inspire and motivate fitness enthusiasts around the world.
Meet Our Host
Anna Crain is a Licensed Master of Social Work and Nick Finnegan Counseling Center's, Lead Outreach Counselor. Anna holds a bachelor’s degree from Texas Christian University (TCU) and a master’s degree in social work from the University of Southern California (USC).
She has worked in a variety of settings, spending majority of her time serving as a non-profit administrator, school administrator and school social worker. She has had the opportunity to help clients work through several challenges such as anxiety, grief and loss, ADHD, ASD, life-stressors and trauma both individually and through groups.
Anna can be found in one-on-one counseling sessions at NFCC and out in the community, leading support groups and presenting to groups through outreach talks.
