Kate Cheka is a mixed-race British comedian based in Berlin. She has always struggled with depression since the age of 10.
Growing up in the countryside of England, she was the only mix raced kid in the school. Kids were mean. Kate was the different kid. She was bullied and wasn't feeling safe.
Even therapy is hard, her very own therapist wouldn't understand the stress & racism Kate was experiencing until she found a therapist who's also mixed race.
In this episode, Kate tells her story and shares her tricks to NOT commit suicide despite often suicidal thoughts.
