But those are just the surface layers, and true self-care is about the deeper, ongoing practices that nourish your mind, body, and soul. I think the idea of self-worth is key here too—if we don’t build it from within, those surface-level acts may not fulfill us in the long run. In this video, I’ll walk you through the difference between surface-level self-care (think spa days or skin treatments) and true self-care that nourishes your body, mind, and soul. This snack I can get behind for menopause health! When I was perimenopause, I should have incorporated this advice back then. Movement snacks, are for busy people, but if we are to incorporate movement throughout the day, this approach is brilliant. This snack is supposed to be a trend of 2023.
