Sara in this solo episode talks about Transition: whether it be back to school time (college or regular school), having to move, relationship or job change, mid-life transitions, etc.

Sara shares that she is going through an imminent transition herself, having to move out of her back house/office that she hadn’t planned on.

At first, she was distraught, anxious, ungrounded and then as she sat with it , she began to come around to excitement for change. She began to look at it as an adventure and exploration rather than that life is falling apart.

We all go through small and large transitions all through our lives. How we react to them can change from devastating to exciting new roads ahead.

Here are some of Sara’s tips for going through a transition. Listen to the podcast for all the details of each!

1.Embrace flexibility and open mindedness.

2.Focus on what we can control and what is unfolding for you.

3.Seek support and stay connected through the transition. It can be via a therapist, a coach, friends, family, mentors. And most importantly stay connected with yourself first.

So, if you are pulling up your anchor and going through a transition, flow through it, it could be a very exciting time coming!
