An important part of parenting is setting healthy boundaries with our children and creating reasonable expectations from which they can learn and grow. Food is no exception in this piece of parenting. However, if you're healing from a difficult relationship with food and your body, you might worry about the potential implications of turning down your child's food requests. Will saying no to that cookie they want cause them to feel restricted with food? Does raising an intuitive eater mean you should always say yes to every food request? This is what we're unpacking in today's show. Tune in for practical things to consider when responding to your child's food requests, as well as ways to respond that don't trigger feelings of restriction around food.
