Hey there, everyone!
So, for the past few weeks, I have been talking a lot about packages.
Way back in episode #95, we talked about why adding packages can help to grow your practice. In #112, I showed you how to craft a service-based package for your repeat clients. In #113, I gave you a full blown training on how to design a signature package to really level up your practice.
Today, I want to cover a final piece of the puzzle for you …Pricing.
It can be tricky, can't it? 🤷‍♀️
Today, I want to help you with that. So let’s talk about 5 of the most common mistakes that I see therapists make when pricing their packages.
I also have a great story for you about one therapist who was able to create an entirely predictable income stream from a completely unpredictable population of clients.
(Spoiler alert … it involves a package!).
Your practice is unique though. What works in one practice won't necessarily work in another. It's critical that you design and price your packages in a way that works for YOU.
We’re diving right into that in this episode, where you’ll hear:

  • Why we need to resist the temptation to charge by the hour (and what to do instead).
  • Why you shouldn’t always offer a payment plan.
  • How to limit your financial risk AND make it more attractive for your clients to work with you.
  • Why you might need to pay attention to the energy you have around money BEFORE you price your packages.
  • The therapeutic benefit that your clients receive when they pay upfront.
  • How to avoid competing with yourself! 😬

I’ve taught you that adding packages to your practice really can boost your income and better serve your clients.
But pricing them correctly is the key to making that work.
Give this episode a listen, and don’t forget to grab the free resources that I have for you below. And if you need more one-on-one help with this, I'd love to work with you via one of my Quick Start Consults. Click here for more on that.
Here's to getting paid what you're worth! 🥂

P.S. If you’re enjoying the podcast as much as I hope you are, could you help me spread the word? Who are two friends or colleagues you know who could really use a boost of encouragement each week? Who else needs this kind of teaching? Please share this episode with them - and thank you!
