Breaking Self-Criticism: Subconscious Blocks And Deep Healing Strategies

Welcome to an episode of "Deep Healing for Creative Entrepreneurs", hosted by Aubrey Bahr, a subconscious release technique practitioner and photography business owner. In today's episode, Aubrey dives deep into understanding the undercurrents of self-criticism and why it is so intrinsic to our nature. We explore the origins of these habitual patterns by looking at toddlers' responses to frustration and distress.

Think back to when you saw a toddler throwing a tantrum or hurting themselves out of frustration. As we grow up, these patterns of self-belittlement, self-discipline, and guilt evolve into subtler forms of negative self-talk and behavior. Aubrey emphasizes that just as it's our responsibility to guide and nurture young children, we should provide ourselves with the same care and understanding.

Drawing upon her expertise in working with the subconscious mind, Aubrey discusses how deeply entrenched these self-critical notions can be, and how they often mask themselves as 'realities' fed by our psyche. Despite the negativity that rests within us, we need to continuously compliment these aspects with positive affirmations and compelling beliefs.

Further, she shares four useful strategies for planting seeds of empowerment and self-love, which include spiritual engagement, physical activities, gaining knowledge, and a time for self-reflection. These activities aim at progressively shifting your thought process and inner dialogue, thus making changes at a deeper level.

Aubrey also introduces her self-led course, 'The Ultimate Love Your Body Course.' The program aims to help individuals erase negative stories about their physical appearance and sensations, encouraging a healthier mental and physical outlook. Tune in to today's powerful episode to kickstart your journey toward deep healing!
