Hi/ Kia ora/ 你好，I am Yujin (aka Coconut Monkey), I am currently based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, studying at the University of Amsterdam (Master's degree in Social Science Research). I am originally from China but had been living in New Zealand for the past 6 years for high school and my Bachelor's (in Sociology and Criminology). Personally, I treat this podcast as my audio journal, where I get to ramble about my daily life as a student living abroad. At the same time, as a people of colour, queer (soon-to-be) social scientist living in a Western country, I want to be reflexive about my existence in this world, and ultimately to create a sense of community for people alike.
