In this episode, Candra sits down with Rachel, a Multiple Sclerosis Warrior who recognized the need for a supportive community when she was first diagnosed. In response, she founded HERillestlife, Inc., a safe space dedicated to empowering black female chronic illness warriors to live their best lives. As a single womanpreneur, Rachel balances her professional role as a Claims Examiner, assisting individuals with Short Term Disability and FMLA processes. Her empathetic approach fosters understanding and support during vulnerable times. Recently, Rachel became an MS Ambassador and MS Support Group Leader for the National MS Society, furthering her commitment to making a positive impact.
