“First, you decide that it has to be there somewhere. And then you keep looking for it until you find it. And when I started doing this, when most people start doing this, I tell them, when you get up in the morning, say you're going to find one thing, one person one event, one experience that you can say, hey, that was pretty good. And then build up to two and three and five. If you do it on a daily basis, or even on a semi regular basis, eventually, you're going to build up those resiliency muscles.”

Maxwell Ivey is a blind serial online entrepreneur with over 15 years’ experience. He is here to educate your audience about the need for accessible inclusive online content in a nonthreatening way that helps them overcome the fear and or overwhelm surrounding making their businesses more inclusive. Maxwell offers advice about making products, services, and content more accessible to people with disabilities. More importantly he explains the compelling why's behind the need for accessibility and inclusion Spoiler alert his emphasis is on education, communication, & collaboration rather than compliance, legal threats, or shame.

He also believes in emphasizing that becoming more inclusive is just like addressing any other issue in your business. He hopes to help your listeners discover that it is progress over perfect and sincere effort over arbitrary rules. He also has advice for bloggers, podcasters, and live streamers on growing their audience by making their show more inclusive. And he can do all this while sharing funny inspiring stories from his past working as a carnival owner, amusement equipment broker, life goals coach, digital media publicist, and now accessibility advisor.

Maxwell will even teach some of his lessons using examples from his experiences as a blind author, speaker, traveller, singer, song writer, and podcast host. He is in the process of launching a new podcast called The Accessibility Advantage where he will interview business owners who have embraced accessibility and inclusion to their benefit.
