There's become somewhat of a divide, with a couple of prominent camps or schools of thought on what the main driver of muscle hypertrophy actually is.
On one side, training volume is seen as the golden ticket, whilst on the other maximizing mechanical tension through lower volume but maximal effort & intensity is believed to be more fruitful.
