S1 | E29 - 6 Elements of Recovery - audio
Manage episode 385369324 series 3484914
Join us on this week's podcast as we discuss the 6 Elements of Recovery.
These elements are vital in working a program, moving towards a healthy life, and gaining a stronger understanding of oneself!
The elements we will be discussing are gaining and retaining hope by understanding one's abilities and disabilities, engagement in an active lifestyle, personal autonomy, social identity, meaning and purpose in life, and a POSITIVE sense of self. You don't want to miss it!!!
A mainstay of all of our recovery stories is being completely honest with our support teams but most importantly, honest with ourselves. How do we do that?
The answer is simple, we journal about our experiences, ideas, and goals. If you are anything like us, then that means you journal A LOT and take a bunch of notes, so don't you deserve a great writing instrument?
We think you do, and we are happy to announce...
WE HAVE A NEW SPONSOR!!! We have been teasing it for a while, and we can finally say that Tactile Turn is the new sponsor of The Awake and Sober Podcast. Hopefully, next week, we will have the discount code for you to get your very own! If you haven't used a Tactile Turn pen yet, let's be honest, are you even writing?
