Inside this Episode DJ EB and I talk about growing up in the city of Louisville as a child, why people used to say "NEWBURG" back in the day, and how EST Gee is putting on for the city and state.
DJ EB talks about how he fell in love with hip-hop at an early age and began rapping which later turned into him wanting to produce beats and his grandmother being his number 1 fan back in the day and still today. As a producer Empty Beats worked with various artists and producers like Jon Woo.
After rapping in producing DJ EB would take off with deejaying. With access to a lot of DJ's in Kentucky DJ EB details how he was a sponge in the rooms soaking up game from DJ Slikk, DJ Fresh, DJ E Feezy and more, taking bits and pieces of their style and meshing them together to create a name for himself. Also, before I forget...we briefly talked about his role at DOPE 16, the ELITEgiance, and what we can expect from them now that the world is slowly opening back up.
