Waddup and welcome back to The WORLDs iLLEST Podcast Through My Eyes with 1 Eyed Willie. Today I'm bringing you EPISODE 14: Flex Ya Mind feat. Floda F.Y.M. and inside this episode Floda discusses with me his upbringing here in the Radcliff/Elizabethtown area and the struggles he went through growing up. With a father deep into the streets Floda explains that his pops wanted him far away from the lifestyle so a lot of his time was spent inside where he would become creative. When his father went to prison Floda would find himself running in the same streets.
Floda and I talk about his inspiration to do music, meeting Louisiana Native Kilo Gotti, writing his first raps to signing a deal with Hooligan Music where he would be for 3-4 years and learn a lot about being independent. After the split from the label Floda details how he fell back for a while then later took what he learned and put it to work for himself.
Recently Floda has picked up the camera and is now recognized all through the region as dope Director/Videographer/Editor and has had the opportunity to work with a lot of artists throughout the area. With his pen still sharp as ever Floda talks about linking up with Bread Boy Ent. for the Motive 2 album. We talk about who he thinks had the hottest verse on The Avengers, whats next for music and where he wants to take his career in television and film.
