Dr. Ron Daniels is an NHS Consultant in Intensive Care, based in Birmingham, U.K. He’s also the Executive Director of the UK Sepsis Trust and sits on the Executive Board of the Global Sepsis Alliance.
In this episode, Dr. Daniels discusses the long road to recovery for patients who come out of critical care. He lays out that #longcovid effects could be physical, cognitive, psychological and offers guidance on what should people look for and who should they reach out to when they need help.
A charity that he founded, The UK Sepsis Trust @ https://sepsistrust.org/ is at the front-line of providing professional support to #Covid19 survivors and has teamed up with https://www.longcovid.org/ as well.
