There's an adage that it can be lonely at the top. But I believe that leaders can be lonely at every stage—whether you're the CEO or a manager of two.
And this pandemic has only increased that feeling of loneliness.
Spending eight to nine hours a day in the same room and at the same desk takes a toll on your mental and social health.
So how do you combat the feeling of loneliness as a leader?
Some leaders try to suppress their feelings of loneliness or even numb them through unhealthy habits. In the end, most methods of “dealing with it by ignoring it” are not helpful.
