Stew Smith graduated the Naval Academy in 1991 and received orders to the Naval Special Warfare Center to attend SEAL training.

He finished with BUDS Class 182 as Class Leader and proceeded to SEAL Delivery Vehicle Team TWO in Little Creek VA. There he
trained to drive mini-subs and become the SDV / DDS platoon commander. Deployments were to the Mediterranean Sea during the mid 90s.

In 1997 Stew returned back to the Naval Academy become a Company Officer and to run the SEAL preparation program. He became very
involved with the physical mission on this tour working with the Physical Education and Admissions Departments.
In 1999, he resigned his commission and started an online fitness business that grew as technology evolved into a multi-media training platform
that prepares young men and women for the tactical professions. He decided to specialize in the training required to prepare people to get
accepted into challenging military, police, and fire fighter programs as well as to endure the following training or selection programs. He writes for
Military.com primarily, but has the Tactical Fitness Report Podcast where he discusses relevant training issues within the tactical population.

He continues to train in Severna Park and offers FREE training for any one who wants to serve their country or community. You can find out more
about Stew Smith at StewSmithFItness.com and Heroesoftomorrow.org where he posts the schedule of his free coaching sessions.
