She initially had misconceptions about sales, but after doing research and talking to a friend, she realized her communication skills and interest in problem-solving made her a good fit for sales. She also highlights the need for creativity and consistency in sales and marketing.

Katerina shares her experience of prospecting in the DACH region as an SDR. She initially found it tough and struggled with cold calling, feeling like a robot and lacking confidence. However, she learned to trust the process, be herself, and adapt her approach. She found support and resources from the SDRs of Germany community and her colleagues.
Katerina recently transitioned to an Account Executive role and is going through the onboarding process, learning to focus on value, ask the right questions, and personalize demos.
