What's it really like to travel the world without flying? Today's guest has a story that takes world travel to a whole new level. Thor Pedersen recently returned from a ten-year adventure, traveling to every country in the world with one major caveat—he never set foot on an airplane.
While many aim to visit every country, Thor is the only one who's done it completely over land and sea, giving him a unique perspective on borders, cultures, and people. His journey, called “Once Upon a Saga,” took him across oceans, through deserts, and over mountains—all without flying. What he initially thought would take just four years turned into a nearly decade-long quest. Last year, he finally completed his mission, and I couldn't wait to sit down with him to hear all about it.
