I've had a couple of conversations with Alex off-air and they usually last at least 2 hours, so I knew we'd have no problems dropping some condensed wisdom for you today. Alex is the head of product and strategy for the very prestigious educational company: The Personal Training Development Center (the "PTDC"). I look to him for advice on many things, both personal and professional, so I was stoked to have him on to share his knowledge with our other fellow Responsible Delinquents.

In this episode, we covered:

-What "Responsible Delinquents" represents

-The text that Alex sent to his (now) boss several years ago

-How Alex bombed his interview to work with Jon Goodman (but eventually landed the job)

-How he mentored personal trainers to delay gratification

-Why Alex values self-awareness so much and why it's important

-How we both challenge ourselves to be more self-aware

-Balancing hustle vs thinking/strategizing

-Why Alex doesn't read much (& what he does instead)

-Is the Internet bad for kids?

-Pros and cons of the Internet

-Is SOCIAL MEDIA a net positive or net negative?

-How social media skews how we think we should live

-How we limit our social media exposure (poorly)

-What if social media didn't exist?

-And much more!
