My guest this week is an incredible woman I’m honored to call a colleague and a friend. Colleen Faltot is an Energetic Weight Loss Coach. She’s in recovery from a disordered relationship with her body and with food, as well as from debilitating anxiety. She’s coached hundreds of people to heal their relationship with food and their bodies. She was guided to create a new age approach to weight loss based on a foundation of self-love and acceptance. Listen in as we talk about:

  • How Covid affected her successful gym business
  • Colleen's journey into and out of an abusive relationship
  • Her struggle with alcohol and road to sobriety
  • What she learned being black-out drunk was doing to her body
  • How she traded one addiction for another
  • What she learned about responsibility on her healing journey
  • The difference between being sober and spiritually fit vs. being “dry drunk”
  • The “gift” Colleen received when she began drinking again
  • What she had to release in order to stay sober
  • How she learned trauma was impacting every facet of her life
  • How her business transformed after she got sober
  • What energetic weight loss is
  • What self-forgiveness looks like for Colleen
  • The role gratitude and acceptance have played in her healing and recovery
  • How shifting her focus has affected her sense of self-worth
  • How trust has changed her life
  • Understanding how trauma is impacting her son
  • The number 1 priority in Colleen's life now
  • The importance of not allowing everyone to have easy access to you while you’re healing (or anytime)
  • How victim mentality can affect every area of life - and what it takes to break free from it
  • The role compassion plays in healing
  • How stress leads to addiction
  • The connection cortisol has to stress and addiction
  • Why we must detach from toxic people and situations with love
  • What being in nature does for her and how it can help you on your healing journey
