As part of “The Holistic Baby and Toddler Sleep Podcast” I will be discussing foundations of sleep. Why are these important?
Because if you don’t have the foundation right, your building will fall down! Aka if your sleep principles and foundations are not set up optimally, baby’s sleep will de rail. Yes! I’ll reach you tips and tricks but I’m very invested in TEACHING and empowering you with skills and knowledge that will LAST you through the duration of your child’s life and sleep needs.
One of these first foundations and the concept that is explored in Episode 1 is understanding change.
“Why accepting change is crucial to understanding your child's sleep needs”
Often I meet clients who get comfortable and therefore resistance to changes in their child’s sleep needs.
You might be on a certain nap schedule or be used to a certain bedtime and the thought of changing these elements of your child’s sleep is less than appealing!
Change is INEVITABLE and necessary, ESPECIALLY when it comes to meeting our children’s sleep requirements.
This episode discusses all things “change” and the 5 common times that you as a parent can expect your child’s sleep needs to change. AND why this is part of the best approach to your child’s ever changing sleep needs!
