Are you someone who feels a greater sense of fulfillment when you don't just do the bare minimum, and actually do more than is required of you?

Inspired by the author Erwin McManus (link below), Mark is adopting a philosophical approach to our short-term rental business, asking us to consider whether we are doing the bare minimum, or seeking a more empathic connection with our guests by offering them that little bit more.

The genius of doing more is that by being selfless and thinking of others, we derive the selfish benefit of feeling better for going above and beyond what's expected of us as short-term rental hosts.

When last did you change the air filters in your property? What is your pool's water temperature? And are your guests aware of available concierge services? Bless your guest, and bless yourself and your business in the process! Please join me.

"The age-old adage: Treat people the way you want to be treated. How can we take that one step forward? How can we treat them better than they anticipated being treated?" ~ Mark McDaniel

In This Episode:

- Are we anticipating our guests' needs?

- Are we building the right processes for our guests?

- Appreciating that we get more when we give more

- Are we looking to bless the guest?

- Don't just bombard your guests with facts – seeking empathy

- What's the one thing you can do to improve your business this week?

And more!
