🗣️ Have you thought about the hidden costs of team drama?
They’re more impactful than you might think!
In the latest episode of The Delivery Space podcast, we are honoured to have Caitlin Walker (PhD) join us. Caitlin's journey from youth work to corporate consulting brings a wealth of knowledge on creating high-performing, drama-free teams.
Highlights from our conversation:
🔶 Understanding Drama - Caitlin shares her insights on recognising drama in teams, whether it’s internal conflicts, communication barriers, or unconscious biases.
🔶 Tools and Techniques - for working through team drama using Clean Language.
🔶 Real-World Applications - Caitlin discusses how she has successfully applied these methods across various sectors, including software development, marketing, and public health.
🔶 Personal Stories - Sharon and I share our own experiences with team drama and the conditions and invoke drama for us. Caitlin guides us to navigate some of the challenges we’ve both encountered.
Caitlin’s approach shows that it's more enjoyable and effective to discuss discomfort, conflict, and disagreement in advance, before they become bigger issues.
By doing so, teams can maintain balance, foster creativity, and enhance problem-solving capabilities.
