Coach Sully is a firm believer in building intrinsic motivation as a key to captivating a little child's interest in the sport of tennis.

- Bring something to the court that your child is already interested in
- Integrate with item into some of the on-court activity
- Don't make the net the barrier or the goal
- Ask them what they want to do and go with it
- Suggest, but don't push the game onto them
- Apply lots of patience
- Repeat and hope for the best
