The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Outpatient Prospective Payment System (OPPS) Proposed Rule includes proposed policies that align with several key goals for the agency, one of which is promoting safe, effective, patient-centered care. CMS has several quality measure changes being proposed to the Hospital Outpatient Quality Reporting (OQR) program within the OPPS Proposed Rule.
