Come along with Craig Zabransky of StayAdventurous.com as he leaves the "Maine" land to explore its coast and sail among its many islands.

With a first stop in Portland, Maine, Craig then heads up the coast to Rockland, Maine and set sail on the US National Historic Schooner Victory Chimes. In both places he dines on the local seafood, yes the lobster, and also talks with locals to discuss the experiences available for travelers to this growing region. He discovers why people believe Maine truly might be "vacation land" as its license plates dictate.

Craig interviews a local restaurant owner of the Porthole Restaurant and Pub on the Wharf and also the Captain of the Victory Chimes itself after spending a few nights on board. The third interview is a how to make a whiskey cocktail, a lesson you can try at home too.

Plus, as always also expect the Top 3 Travel Tips, advice for when you plan your visit, the Staying Adventurous Mindset Moment, a take-away to ponder for your next voyage anywhere and the perfect sunset spot along with the new - What to Eat - segment.

This was Craig's second time in Maine with a first visit to Bar Harbor and LL Beam twenty years ago. Although he needed to pack warmer clothes this time (one of his travel tips), the whiskey and the hospitality of the region kept him more than comfortable. For more details on this destination and stories about the region visit the episode's show notes through the Staying Adventurous podcast page > here. And also make sure to "subscribe" to his quest to continue 'staying adventurous' to receive each new monthly episode.
