Episode 3: CHANGE YOUR PERSPECTIVE

Automatically, we think the worst when we're faced with a challenge or loss right?
In this episode I used relationship separations and break-ups as an example of the topic (Change Your Perspective), because love relationships are such relatable topics. Someone will always know the heartbreaking pain of a breakup no matter what your environment is. It's unfortunate, but also a truth we'll never have the ability to run from, ignore or disagree about. So, changing the perspective about the pain of the challenged or failed relationship would look more like asking yourself....What is this here to teach me? Show me, warn me, or better yet how can this improve me? Instead of looking for validation, assurance and answers from the person who made the decision to end or pause things. It's not as easy to focus on the greatest outcomes when your heart and feelings are involved, I'm fully aware. Which is why in this episode I mention how important it is to face the pain, that deep hurt, and the reality of whatever your situation is not to keep you in it, but because it is the healthiest way to heal. Will it hurt? Of course it will, but running away from it will only prolong the hurt and, or never heal it. You deserve to have another fair shot at a real love relationship without carrying past hurts into the picture, which is what I call cheating on the heart. Take the time you need and let the experience grow you into having the life you rightfully deserve.
If your situation isn't relating to love relationships, then I'd encourage you to let your situation do the same for you. Feel your emotions without beating yourself up, without falling into self-destructive patterns and lack of self-care. Time is needed to face and own your truth/reality and whatever it is, there is always a positive outcome available for it. Changing your perspective would look like...HOW CAN I MAKE THIS WORK IN MY FAVOR? What is this here to teach me about me? Is this test driving me into testimonies to fulfill or figure out my life's purpose? YOU DESERVE MORE than feeling hurt and pain. Go through it to get to you, God (if you're a believer), and real self-love.
Of course I shared some self-love talk that can be used to reverse the negative talk that so easily slip up in your head/mind. Make sure you SPEAK them to yourself as many times a day as you need to. Watch how it helps shift your mind-set
