There has been a lot of talk on the "rights" of citizens, “Free Speech" and "Freedom of the Press," and "Freedom of Religion, to "bear arms," and all the hot button issues that have been debated on "social media." In the history of New Media, the computerization of journalism, began around 1955. It has evolved from the newspaper, radio to television and morphed into social media. When journalists explored Blogs, podcasts, and social media - media professionals found a way past the number one objective - Objectivity! Social Media has cheapened the Cause of a Free Press and is threatening the existence of professional journalism. The dividing line used to be regulating, Citizen Journalists to the editorial page or the Op-ed. Artificial Intelligence is taking the soul from journalism, and the dimensional heart of the matter from the page, the speaker, and the screen. Today, as a leader in media, I am asking all media professionals to stop using social media platforms in communicating stories. I will be communicating only on my podcasting, broadcasting and through email and the US Post Office. I have incorporated Richard Arnold Beattie, Inc as a media communications and audio and music publisher.
